E53 Transform Your Life: Mind-Body Benefits of Gratitude Meditation

from Midlife Purpose Project: Guiding 40+ women toward Purpose, Peace, and Reinvention

Living in gratitude is one of the best things we can do for our mind and our body. The mind body connection is powerful and practicing gratitude is one way we can use our thoughts to regulate our emotions and nervous system while also doing amazing things for our physical bodies. Gratitude has also been shown to improve our relationships, increase our empathy and protect us from anxiety and depression. The key to a powerful gratitude practice is to really feel into the gratitude. What does gratitude feel like in your body. When we can truly feel the experience of gratitude, our bodies and minds respond in amazing ways. Take a few minutes to live into gratitude during this meditation and see how you feel after. I would love to hear! Join me this Thursday June 6th at noon for my Dharma Workshop where we will start peeling back the layers covering your true essence and help you excavate your soul's purpose.
