E58: A useless Prophet, a good son, & the "mother wound"

Send us Fan MailHave you ever been told you have a "Father Wound" or "Mother Wound"? Perhaps in college ministry? I know I was. And I figured out I had both... once I forgave my Dad of course. But are we driving this home too hard? Are we burning bridges, preaching on deaf ears, debating theology... at home? Jesus had a few words about that sorta thing. He said it was near impossible! But he also said to Honor your Father and Mother. How do we do that when they aren't Christians? How do we do that if they keep hovering, correcting, pushing for likemindedness? Join me as I talk with my amazing mom, Grace, about the pitfalls we struggle with as humans beings, seeking for spiritual unity and not finding it. This may make you uncomfortable and that's ok. My mom and I do not believe the same things, and I do not agree with everything she said on my show. But she's my mom. And she has so much to offer!
