E61: Clinton Gregory
from Pickin' It Out with Andrew Pope Hosted by Andrew Pope
this week i am honored to be pickin it out with a man that we have not heard or seen much from in the last few years, mr. clinton gregory. clinton came from a long line of fiddle players and is one of the best ever. he also had a record deal in the 1990s and toured with acts like suzy bogguss, gene watson and more. sadly, in 2017 clinton had a stroke that impaired his ability to play the instrument that he loves so much. clinton invited me into his home to talk about this for the first time on camera. we filmed this great conversation because he wanted to talk about his life as well as address some other things he has not talked about. do NOT miss this with a country music and bluegrass legend that we do not appreciate enough, clinton gregory.
