E62 Conquering Imposter Syndrome: Embrace Your True Potential

from Midlife Purpose Project: Guiding 40+ women toward Purpose, Peace, and Reinvention

On this episode, Karen Caton-Brunnings and I talk imposter syndrome! Have you ever heard of it? Imposter syndrome is the condition of feeling anxious and not experiencing success internally, despite being high-performing in external, objective ways. This condition often results in people feeling like "a fraud" or "a phony" and doubting their abilities. It stops us from doing things we feel called to do, because we are afraid that we won't measure up or that we will be judged and criticized for not being good enough. Have you ever felt like this? Has it ever stopped you from doing, saying or being something that you really wanted to do, say or be? Karen and I normalized this feeling and talk about ways of overcoming it, so we can follow our hearts calling and live the expanded life we were born for. Don't forget to sign up for my 3 day Summit! It starts August 6th and it is going to be filled with conversations like this one! Don't miss this opportunity to be in community with like minded women and return home to yourself.
