from HealthMatters · host Karen Jacobs

In this episode, we welcome Juan Leon Parra ([email protected]), a College Coach and Instructor at Sargent’s College Mental Health Program, Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation (CPR). He introduced “Success!”, a class where students discuss the concept of success from a wellness and a philosophical perspective. Juan also talked about ways young adults can build resilience and emotional agility. About CPR: Since 1979, the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation has been devoted to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric conditions. We conduct research, provide training and deliver services to adults with psychiatric conditions and young adults wishing to complete their education. The moderator of the podcast is Dr. Karen Jacobs ([email protected]), who is the Associate Dean, Digital Learning and Innovation, a Clinical Professor and the Program Director for the online post-professional doctorate in the occupational therapy program at Sargent College. Marial Williams ([email protected]), a Boston University entry-level occupational therapy doctoral student, composed the music for the podcast.
