This weeks guest is Aubrey K. Slater - co-owner and Chief Brand Development Queen for Saint Luna Charcoal Filtered Moonshine. This is Part 1 of a 2 part interview. Aubrey is a transwoman and a former First Lieutenant in The United States Marine Corps and a true hospitality professional. Aubrey has achieved a second level sommelier certification and has worked for wineries, cruise ships and fine dining restaurants around the world in such places as, San Francisco; New York City; Washington D.C.; Berlin; Maui and Prague. Aubrey has been blessed to work for and with some of the best cocktail bars in the world and has also had the pleasure and honor of working with and mentored by some of the top professionals in the business including Dale DeGroff and Sother Teague. Aubrey has experienced a number of highs and lows in life, and has maintained a positive outlook throughout. Her story is an incredible journey of perseverance and hard work.
