E76:Being Honest With Yourself
from Bala’s Podcast
We talk a lot about being honest with other people—but how honest are you with yourself? Sometimes the truth is uncomfortable. Maybe the career isn't working. The relationship isn't going where you hoped. You're unhappy with where you are. Or maybe you're trying to force yourself to become someone you're simply not. In this episode, I explore the courage it takes to tell yourself the truth without turning that truth into criticism. Because admitting that something isn't for you doesn't automatically mean you're weak, incapable, or a failure. Sometimes it means you're becoming more aware of who you actually are, where your strengths lie, and what you really want. Before you can communicate your truth to somebody else, you may have to be brave enough to admit it to yourself. What is something you already know about yourself—but have been afraid to admit?
