C talks with their friend Rodrigo about what it was like to grow up as a gay boy in a conservative city in the 90ies, queer rights in Mexico today and life in the city of Guanajuato as a queer person. Rodrigo shares his experiences of being bullied in school and at home, compulsory soccer and loneliness. We philosophize about the next generation of parents, the growing number of Mexican states with equal marriage rights and non-discrimination laws and end in a place of cautious optimism.
