E91: Mike Earnshaw & Teaching and Leading Outside the Box

Mike is in his seventh year as an elementary principal in Lansing, Illinois. Before moving into administration, he taught middle school English Language Arts for 15 years. Mike is the author of the book The EduCulture Cookbook (to be released spring/summer 2021), co-host of the Punk Rock Classrooms Podcast, and shares his thoughts on education on his blog. In this episode, Mike shares stories of how we can break away from the stereotypes to teach and lead in a way that makes people excited to come to school.
