E92 - Deborah Griffiths - Gaslighting Defined - Broken To Boldness

EPISODE 92 - Broken to Boldness LLC was created as an avenue to bring more awareness to domestic abuse.  Completing my first novel, “Torched - Burnt By a Gaslighter”, is a fictionalized story based on actual events showing the impact of gaslighting on the victim and their families. According to the Centers for Disease Control, approximately 43 million women and 38 million men will experience mental or emotional abuse by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Many are afraid to leave these abusive relationships for a variety of reasons - fear, shame, embarrassment, lack of education or job skills, or even because they have nowhere to go.  I know these feelings all too well as I, too, experienced gaslighting (verbal abuse).  It’s time to stop the abuse!This website will be a source for education and resources to help educate on recognizing the red flags and provide avenues to empower those wanting to safely leave these relationships.
