E99: Caroline Santinelli - Embrace Your Innate Talent to Return from Burn-Out & Transform Your Career (Client)

from Build Your Brave Career for Women in Tech · host Nicole Trick Steinbach

My client, Caroline Santinelli, shares her story of moving from burnout-driven medical leave into embracing her innate strengths, choosing her health, and creating her own business. She sums up her experience with a Brene Brown quote: “belong to yourself first.” First, she lost her voice (for real) due to stress, experienced her first panic attack, developed insomnia, kept getting sick with aches and fevers, and finally began having significant nerve pains. Finally, she realized she would rather be sick than return to work for her mental health. So she gave herself permission to take medical leave. She slowly gave herself permission to begin to belong to herself. Then she began to embrace her innate talents. Then she allowed others to be disappointed. She did the messy, deeply personal work of building her brave. Caroline is the first client who decided to build her brave to open up her own business, Terra Prosody Grant Consulting, a grant-writing boutique consulting firm. If you’re ready to learn how to belong to yourself, embrace your innate talents, and break free of the rules and judgments holding you back, this is your episode. This is your time to belong to yourself, choose yourself, craft your talents, and then leap into your brave life. Schedule your consultation today. https://tricksteinbach.com/discovery-call/   Hot topics from this episode:Introducing Caroline Santinelli - educator to business ownerWhat it means to belong to yourself, one step at a time Why it’s important to disappoint others instead of yourselfHow we’ve been indoctrinated to not belong to ourselves“Any woman who chooses to behave like a full human being should be warned that the armies of the status quo will treat her as something of a dirty joke . . .
