Each Piece Put On With Prayer

You may be familiar with the song “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus.” It was written in 1858 and, in particular, was a hymn reminding people to stand up for Jesus and against slavery. It was considered a spiritual battle that could only be won through prayer. We are involved in a battle for the cause of Christ that demands each piece of gospel armor. It is prayer that holds it all together.
