EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Broncos, Week 5

Week 5 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they now have their first loss of the season. The Denver Broncos won this matchup by a score of 21-17 down at The Linc. This was, once again, a tough game to watch as the offensive play calling was completely predictable and the offense, in general, didn’t come through in key spots in the second half.Jalen Hurts, once again, showed how he’s a top-tier quarterback in the NFL when you look at the stat sheet and how well he played, yet his coaching seems subpar. That’s where the weakness has been on this Eagles team - the offensive coaching after five weeks of play.Meanwhile, we saw some of the best defensive pass rush of the season, yet the Eagles only came away with 2 sacks in this game. They just cannot seem to “get home” when it comes to finishing and getting those sacks.
