EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Buccaneers, Week 3
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 3 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds end up winning their third game of the season in as many weeks on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were also 2-0 coming into this game, by a score of 25-11. The Eagles are now 3-0 on the season, are in first place in the NFC East, and are one of three teams who are undefeated in the NFL, sharing that honor with the 49ers and Dolphins. The Eagles completely dominated the Bucs in the trenches both on offense and defense. The offensive line was moving the Bucs defense to the point where D’Andre Swift averaged 8.1 yards per carry. Jalen Hurts is still making elite plays on the field, but he’s been turning the ball over, which is unlike what we saw last year. He had two interceptions in this game.Defensively, Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis completely dominated the defensive line, many times beating their double coverage. It was also a positive to have James Bradberry and Reed Blankenship back in the secondary. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable.
