EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Chiefs, Week 11
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead in Kansas City by a score of 21-17 in this year’s Super Bowl rematch! The Eagles are now 9-1 on the season, and they remain in first place in the NFC East division. This was mostly an ugly game for the offense, not executing on nearly 75% of their plays. The Eagle had 78 yards of total offense and Jalen Hurts was sacked 5 times in the first half. The run defense was shredded for 121 yards, the most any team has run for against Philly this season, in the first half. But at the end of the day, both the offense and the defense made plays when they needed to. They were tenacious.Meanwhile, the Eagles secondary had their best performance of the season. The defense overall held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense to zero points in the second half. Quite remarkable. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
