from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 9 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Dallas Cowboys at The Linc in Philly by a score of 28-23 in a tough divisional matchup. The Eagles are now 8-1 on the season, and they are in first place in the NFC East division.Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown were once again on fire here in week 9. They are the sole reasons why this team won against a very tough divisional opponent and one of the top defenses in the NFL. Turnovers are still occurring, but the consistency of the Eagles offense to drive down the field and score is something to behold.Meanwhile, the Eagles secondary was absolutely horrendous again as they were last week. They allowed Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to connect 11 times on 16 targets for 191 yards. Sean Desai is not coaching this defense well. Thankfully, the defensive line made plays when they needed to.As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
