EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Dolphins, Week 7
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 7 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Miami Dolphins wearing Kelly Green at The Linc by a score of 31-17 on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles are now 6-1 on the season, and they are still in first place in the NFC East. This team certainly rebounded from last week’s game against the Jets as the rushing defense was totally dominant throughout the game, and really set the tone. While the secondary was banged up, they did not let Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle dominate them. Sean Desai has done a great job with this defense thus far - a defense with an identity after week 7.However, we can’t say the same for the offense. This offense really doesn’t have an identity. Jalen Hurts continues to remain up and down. He makes incredible passes and then immediately makes mistakes that shouldn’t be made for his quarterback prowess. The offensive line was fantastic, especially in pass protection. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Josh Shuster, filling in for the guys this week!Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable.
