Eagles Postgame Week 11, 2019 vs. Patriots

Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books. The Eagles suffered a tough defeat by the New England Patriots at The Linc by a score of 17-10, and their record is now 5-5 on the season as they've slipped to 2nd in the NFC East division.This team's wild card chances are dwindling even though this game was probably the best this Eagles defense had played all season. They certainly get an "A" for the effort they put forth. The offense, after losing RT Lane Johnson, was completely anemic. We witnessed, by far, one of Carson Wentz's top-3 worst games of his career only completing 50% of his passes, and not having many open receivers to throw to. While Zach Ertz was a strong presence on offense, moving the ball effectively continues to be a challenge for this offense that has been extremely disappointing and quite mediocre on the season overall.
