Eagles Postgame, Week 16, 2021 vs. Giants
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 season is now in the books as the Eagles beat the New York Giants at The Linc by a score of 34-10. The Eagles are now 8-7 on the season, surprising us as the playoffs could very well be in their future. This week, Jeff was joined by Gino Cammilleri (@GC24_Football) from the Locked On Eagles podcast. This game was a tale of two halves as Jalen Hurts and the offense were completely undisciplined and looked like they never played the game of football in their lives during the first two quarters. It wasn't until the third quarter where the offense picked up and ran with momentum scoring 31 unanswered points. Offensively, there were contributions everywhere on the field, including offensive tackle Lane Johnson who caught a touchdown pass. The Eagles defense was dominant throughout the game as they should have been with Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon playing quarterback for the Giants. The held Saquon Barkley to 32 yards on 15 carries and 108 total passing yards from both quarterbacks combined. They did their jobs for sure this week including a great pick-six from linebacker Alex Singleton, and an interception by Rodney McLeod. As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded coaches.Head over to our website for more podcasts and more: https://www.philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow the guys on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik Leonard: @BrickPolittLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerFollow the show on Instagram: @philadelphiasportstable"Like" our Facebook Page: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
