Eagles Postgame, Week 4 vs. 49'ers

Week 4 of the 2020 Philadelphia Eagles season is now in the books! The Eagles won their first game of the season by a score of 25-20 in San Francisco, and with a 1-2-1 record are now first in the NFC East. It's actually unbelievable.This definitely was a bounce-back game for Carson Wentz given his struggles early this season. He put the game in his hands given his very injured offensive line protecting him, and a lack of real weapons to throw to. Head Coach Doug Peterson definitely had a much better week than previous weeks and redeemed his "big balls" title, at least temporarily. And this game was mainly won because of a great defensive performance, mainly by the defensive line. Turnovers, sacks and pressure throughout the day was the reason why this game was won by the Eagles.As we do after every Eagles game, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats and gave out our position and coaching grades.
