Eagles Postgame, Week 7, 2021 vs. Raiders
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 7 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 season is now in the books as the Eagles lost their fifth game of the season on the road to the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 33-22. The Eagles are now 2-5 on the season.Don't let the score fool you. This wasn't much of an offensive game despite the fourth quarter, garbage time numbers put up by QB Jalen Hurts & Co. The offense could never get going outside of the first drive of the game. The offense scored 15 points in the fourth - a little too late for our taste. The defense and its coordinator, Jonathan Gannon, had an extended week to prepare for this game. The unit overall looked uninspired (as did the entire team), and couldn't stop Raiders QB Derek Carr who went 31/34 for 323 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT, nor the Raiders receiving corps. A terrible game overall. As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded the units and coaches.Head over to our website for more podcasts and more: https://www.philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow the guys on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik Leonard: @BrickPolittLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerFollow the show on Instagram: @philadelphiasportstable"Like" our Facebook Page: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
