Eagles Seek Stability at Long Snapper with Rocco Underwood

The Philadelphia Eagles are focused on fortifying their special teams unit by integrating Rocco Underwood, a highly decorated rookie long snapper, into their roster. Special Teams Coordinator Michael Clay emphasized the importance of this move to maintain the franchise's long-standing tradition of excellence and stability at the position. While the team has already secured veteran punter Braden Mann, the coaching staff is now prioritizing the development of Underwood to ensure a seamless "operation" for the upcoming season. The rookie is currently adapting to the NFL environment during offseason programs, with coaches expecting him to meet the high standards set by his predecessors. Ultimately, the team aims for a cohesive unit where specialists like Underwood and Mann can provide consistent performance under pressure.
