Eagles vs. Bears Postgame | Week 15
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books! The Birds ended up escaping The Windy City with a win, beating the Chicago Bears by a score of 25-20 at at Soldier Field. The Eagles are now 13-1 on the season, and they remain first in the NFC East division as well as atop the NFC overall.Unlike last week, offensively, this was not a well-balanced game plan. Jalen Hurts not only ran the ball 17 times (and scored 3 rushing touchdowns by the way), but the running backs in this game didn't see any action until over halfway through the second quarter. Hurts also threw two interceptions in this game, which has been unlike him during the course of the season. The Eagles defensive not only kept them in this game, but arguably were the reason why they left Chicago with a win. 6 total sacks on the day. 9 tackles for a loss, and 6 quarterback hits against a team whose quarterback in Justin Fields was able to rush the ball at will for most of the game. The defense did not let up, and were the main reason this team won the game.As always, we gave our themes and takeaways.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable
