Eagles vs. Cowboys Postgame | Week 16

Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books. The Birds ended up losing to the Dallas Cowboys on the road by a score of 40-34. The Eagles are now 13-2 on the season, and they remain first in the NFC East division as well as atop the NFC overall.Gardner Minshew was very serviceable in this game, but at the end of the day, too many turnovers by him and Eagles offense cost this team a win on Christmas Eve. All four turnovers lead to a total of 20 points for the Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Eagles wide receivers had an amazing game, and we truly now understand the accuracy value Jalen Hurts has brought to the quarterback position this year.The Eagles defensive front was on fire today. The same could not be said for the secondary who clearly had their worst game of the season. Giving up a 3rd and 30 play was absolutely unacceptable and will go down as one of the worst plays any Eagles secondary.
