Eagles vs. Vikings Postgame | Week 2
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 2 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 24-7 in their first home game at The Linc this season. They're now 2-0 in the NFC East division and are tied for first with the NY Giants.Last week we saw defensive instability. The week was a complete 180 as defensive dominance was the major theme from this game. Three interceptions by DBs within the red zone showed us how determined the defense was to turn things around from last week. Darius Slay won the battle with Justin Jefferson all night. This defense only gave up 94 total yards in the first half. This was the first game in his career that Jalen Hurts truly looked like a franchise quarterback. We won't put the cart before the horse, but he, along with the RBs and WRs, was completely dominant from the offensive side of the ball. Looking comfortable in the pocket and going through his progressions, it appeared that Hurts has been developing well.As always, we gave our takeaways and graded the units and coaches.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow the guys on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable
