Eagles Week 12, 2019 vs. Seahawks
from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table
Week 12 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books. The Eagles suffered yet another tough defeat this week. This time by the Seattle Seahawks at The Linc by a score of 17-9. This Eagles team has only scored 19 points total over the past two games. Their record is now 5-6 on the season as the NFC East division seems to be out of reach at this point. Time will tell. This game was probably one of Carson Wentz's worst as the franchise quarterback for this team. Turning the ball over, poor footwork and throwing motions led to tremendous inconsistency throughout the day for the offense. Greg Ward coming off the practice squad showed some flare, and Zach Ertz was clutch when called upon, but this Eagles offense is just plain bad. However, Jim Schwartz's defense is the only thing that has kept this Eagles season alive. With six sacks on the day, 10 quarterback hits, and an interception, they did all they could to provide the Eagles a fighting chance. But again, the offense did not show up at all.As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each position as well as the coaches.
