Earle Shettleworth is widely regarded as the foremost authority on the history of Maine. He has been serving as Maine's State Historian, a position appointed by the governor, for the past 20 years. Bill and Jensen had the privilege of speaking with Earle about Percival Baxter's life, as only he could. Earle knew Baxter, and in sharing his personal experiences, he gives us a unique insight into Baxter's life as a Portlander and a true man of Maine. This podcast is the first of two parts.
