She is Master trained in the licensed, evidence-based Savvy Programs and psychoeducational dementia caregiver interventions. A highly motivated community volunteer, public speaker, and non-denominational group leader, Sharon received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and a Masters in Speech Pathology at the University of Houston. She completed a year-long internship with Baylor College of Medicine in Neurogenic Speech/Language pathologiesAmazing Place is a faith-based non-profit committed to empowering families facing the challenges of dementia and advancing brain health for all. For almost 30 years we have served our community with joy and optimism for what is possible. We offer programs for those diagnosed, for caregiving families and friends, and for individuals and organizations interested in brain health, memory preservation, and the aging journey. Most of our programs are free of charge. We have in-person and virtual offerings both in English and Spanish.
