Early Identification of Central Nervous System Tumors in Primary Care Pediatrics with Adam Green, MD (Rebroadcast S5:E10)

Central nervous system (CNS) tumors account for a quarter of all cancers in children aged 1 to 19 years. Nearly 70% of CNS tumors can be effectively treated, but early detection is critical to allow for the best possible treatments and outcomes. Too often, CNS tumors are initially misdiagnosed as more common pediatric conditions such as migraine, gastroenteritis or other psychologic and behavioral problems.
