Early Predictions for Oregon-Penn State, Alabama-Georgia, and LSU-Ole Miss + AP Poll Reactions & The Teams We Believe In | College Football

We're gearing up for a monster slate of games in Week 5 and our trip to the massive Penn State-Oregon contest this weekend. But first, we start with the news, including a tough season-ending injury for Syracuse QB Steve Angeli, a fine for the Orange for faking injuries, and the SEC's official ruling on Oklahoma's controversial trick-play touchdown. We also touch on the SEC's newly announced annual opponents for the next four years and share the heartbreaking news of former App State coach Shawn Clark's unexpected passing. Then, we dive into the latest AP and Verballer Top 12 polls, breaking down the disparities and debating which teams are ranked too high or too low as we enter Week 5. From there, we ask whether we've seen enough to truly believe in five discussion-worthy teams: Florida State, Miami, Indiana, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma. And finally, we turn our attention to a loaded Week 5 schedule, giving our full breakdowns and predictions for the three biggest matchups of the weekend (No. 4 LSU at No. 13 Ole Miss, No. 7 Alabama at No. 4 Georgia, and No. 3 Oregon at No. 5 Penn State).
