Also the guys gets into the Deflate-gate discussion and react to the penalties assessed toward the New England Patriots. The entire panel do agree that the NFL was heavy handed in its decision while EJ does think that Patriot fans reaction comes off as elitism. â?¢THE HOT FIVE: Everett Golson, Tom Thibadeau, Jorge Posada, Jimmy Butler, Odell Beckham Jr. â?¢Lang Greene of Basketball Insiders joins the show as he does every week to discuss the NBA playoffs and why the New Orleans decided to fire Monty Williams. â?¢The guys discuss former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden's recent comments on Jameis Winston. EJ think he has the audio of the comments ready to be played but screws up. In the meantime the guys do agree why context matters, Winston did in fact embarrass the school during his tenure there. HOUR #2 â?¢EJ admits the the first hour of the show was the worse radio he's done in a long time to all the fault of his own. Our old friend Matt Whitener of The Sports Fan Journal joins the show to discuss the latest in baseball. Plus EJ and Matt get into a quick banter about the upcoming series finale of Mad Men, Game Of Thrones and how they look forward to having Matt's segments increased over summer â?¢A scheduled guest bailed on the guys so the crew decide to talk more about Deflate-Gate. 'Boston' Jack brings up the comparison between Pete Rose and Tom Rose and how people are quicker to forgive Rose than Brady and why it's not fair.
