East Las Vegas Fire Claims Lives and Animals | Las Vegas News

A devastating fire in East Las Vegas tore through two homes after starting with a vehicle blaze in a backyard, forcing firefighters to battle flames that spread rapidly. Two people were hospitalized — one stable at UMC, a firefighter as a precaution — while four beloved pets lost their lives. The American Red Cross stepped in to support 14 displaced residents and five dogs. Authorities are still investigating how the vehicle fire ignited and escalated, but updates are expected as the Las Vegas Fire Department continues its probe.
