East river mountain by Corman

Song up on the East river mountain I remember the older days Things in life were simple then A place called Bluefield West Virginia Boys on Friday nights Drive their hot rods down Main Street Stereos cranking Wheels a spinning Car lights flashing Just to get some attention Just cruising the Main Street Checking out all the girls Walking through our little town Then someone would say I heard there’s A Keg party upon the mountain It’s time to cruise up the hill There’s a mountain called East River A tourist stop of times Gone by Nice little place to have a good time East river East river the top of the mountain [chorus] Baby, let’s cruise Up on the mountain tonight Come on girl you know You want go up the mountain To party tonight Gonna get on the I said gonna get on the East River Mountain [ verse] The view up here will take your breath away You can see the great town Of Bluefield close by Oh how I love to sit in my car On east river Mountain Car windows fog up in the dusk Of the night for making out Music cranks up real loud Parties form everyone is having a good time Listening to the doobie brothers All are trying to get lucky Tonight I know a few Babies have been made up here Couples argue and fight And make up and unite People got drunk up here And then, Drive down the curvy foggy road about ten Mile per hour Look out guy is Watching for the guard rail by the road While driving east river It’s the best place to be [chorus] Baby, let’s cruise Up on the mountain tonight Come on girl you know You want go up the mountain To party tonight Gonna get on the I said gonna get on the East River Mountain I love the east (east) River (river) Mountain
