Easter Devotions - Day 2 - Tuesday – Simon Elliott

from Everyday Church Sermons Hosted by Everyday Church

Continue your Easter Week journey with this moving devotion from Mark 14:1-11. In Bethany, while religious leaders plot in secret, a woman responds to Jesus with extraordinary love and devotion by pouring out an expensive perfume in an act of wholehearted worship. Where some see waste, Jesus sees something beautiful. This powerful moment challenges us to consider our own response to Jesus. Are we holding back, or are we willing to give Him our very best, freely, sacrificially, and without fear of what others think? As the contrast unfolds between the woman’s devotion and Judas’ betrayal, we’re invited to reflect on who Jesus truly is and how we will respond to Him this Easter. Listen now and be inspired to worship Jesus with fresh passion and authenticity.
