Easter is Good News!

All of us get into trouble in during our life, get things wrong, do things we wish we hadn’t. We’re told that doing things our own way is a good thing, but others get hurt…we get hurt – there are consequences. We need rescuing. And that’s what Jesus did. He paid the ransom, with his own life, to set us free from living life our own way, and all the consequences of that. He rescues us from ourselves! The way he did that was by dying – being killed, but three days later, he rose to life again. And that means that when we admit that we’ve got it wrong, accept that Jesus paid the ransom for us, and ask him to come and take charge of our life, that we are set free.
