Easter Vigil

Today's readings celebrate God's power to deliver his people from darkness into new life. Isaiah proclaims God's unbreakable covenant of love and restoration, while the Exodus recounts Israel's miraculous passage through the Red Sea to freedom. These ancient promises of rescue and renewal find their ultimate fulfillment in the Gospel's proclamation that Christ has risen from the dead.
