Eastern Conference Finals Update May 21st, 2026

The New York Knicks showed consistency and dominance as they took care of business in Game 2 of the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 109 to 93. Knicks guard Josh Hart was on fire as he shot 10 for 21 from the field and five for 11 from three-point range finishing with 26 points. Teammates Mikal Bridges scored 19 points, OG Anunoby finished with 14 points, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson had double-doubles with Towns scoring 18 points and grabbing 13 rebounds while Brunson had 19 points and 14 assists. As for the Cavaliers, disappointing performances by Sam Merrill and Max Strus. Merrill shot only one for eight from the field and was zero for seven from three-point range finishing with only four points. Meanwhile, Strus shot one for seven from the field and was one for four from three-point range finishing with only five points. The Cavaliers’ leading scorer was Donovan Mitchell as he scored 26 points. James Harden finished with 18 points, Evan Mobley had 14 points, and Jarrett Allen had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
