Eastern Conference Finals Update May 23rd, 2026

Game 3 of the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio saw the New York Knicks dominating from start to finish as they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 121 to 108. Guard Jalen Brunson delivered a tremendous performance as he was the Knicks’ leading scorer with 30 points. Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby were outstanding as well with Bridges scoring 22 points and Anunoby having 21 points. Also contributing to the win were Karl-Anthony Towns with 13 points, Josh Hart had 12 points, and Landry Shamet came off the bench to score 14 points. As for Cleveland, shooting woes continued for Sam Merrill and Max Strus as Merrill scored only six points and shot two for five from the field and two for six from three-point range while Strus scored 13 points shooting four for 12 from the field and four for eleven from three-point range. The Cavaliers’ leading scorer was Evan Mobley with 24 points while Donovan Mitchell finished with 23 points, James Harden had 19 points, and Jarrett Allen scored 17 points.
