Eat It Up #84: Bacon, Beer and Boobs Festival

This week on the podcast we are talking to Jake Briggs, the founder of the Beer & Bacon Fest (previously known as the Bacon, Beer, Boobs Fest). For those who aren’t familiar; Beer and Bacon Fest is a festival dedicated to Bacon and Beer while raising money to for Breast Cancer Network of WNY. Last year was the first ever festival and I had the privilege of being one of the Bacon Judges, a dream come true. I had a really good time and despite some weather scares, the event had a really good showing and some money was raised for a good cause. I invited Jake to the studio a couple weeks ago to talk about the experience of putting together a festival, how the idea came to be and what he has planned for this year.
