Eat The Feedback

from Antaños · host Andres Antanios

............. Noise Poem Before I open my eyes, the bright sun is whispering, "Open your eyes to another day without your baby." As I get out of bed, my sluggish body groans, "I am empty and useless." In the shower the tapping water tells me "All the water in the ocean cannot wash away your pain." I walk past the nursery and the crib moans, "There is no baby here." I have no desire to nourish my body, but my stomach nags me to "eat something." I open the refrigerator and the shelves, where bottles of milk should be, whispers in a cool voice, "I am empty." As I sit and eat breakfast, the wall where the pictures of us should hang, cries out to me "I am bare." My chest is tight and my heart screams with every beat, "I am broken." Everything around me tells me you are gone and I pray for the noise to stop, Even just for a minute. (X = By Darla Harmon )
