I have had gf that did Dune director Denis Villeneuve's criticism of MCU movies to comments made by Martin Scorsese! Dune director Denis states that there are too many movies that are copy and paste. Denis Villeneuve's is known for making masterpieces and also duds as well as Martin Scorses. They hate the basicness and fundamentalism of most Marvel movies. He praised Endgame and Shangchi but felt like a lot of others in the MCU are copypasta. Is Marvel's success and lack of risk-taking upsetting a lot of high-end creative Directors.
