from EatScripture Hosted by EatScripture
A Song of Ascents. Which of the "gods" that surround me and offer me happiness, peace, pleasure, etc. shall I look to? The author of this Psalm of Ascents says YHWH is our only choice because He is the creator of heavens and earth and will totally keep us safe & guarded. While the other "gods" need sleep and have limits, YHWH does not! He can be trusted forever.
