EATT Magazine podcast 7 with Pamela Bain

 Pamela Bain is a practicing artist with over ten years exhibiting history.  Working with materials and media such as acrylic, watercolour, pastel  pencil, ink and collage, Pam is now exploring the application of digital manipulation to her painterly creations. Pam's body of work includes BIOTIC COSMIC A life long interest in astrophotography and space exploration has informed Pamela Bain's latest body of work.  Responding to the uncanny resemblance of microbiology to outer space imagery BIOTIC COSMOS speaks to the observation that we and the universe share mutual composition and thus, connects us all.  This creative direction also relates to one's location within space both near and far.  Overall, the space scape thematic provides an interface for meditation and potential for philosophical reflection: a contemplative space in which to consider relationships with ones environment, one's self and the universe.
