Ebenezer Blues 2013

I’m not buyin’ nothin for Christmas not for you or for me no lights and no tree i won’t waste my time waiting in line and gettin’ uptight as life passes by no cards to send out no bags to pack i’ll watch the snow fall as I lie on my back I’d rather sit here with you and drink a brew and sing the Ebenezer blues Don’t say that I don’t have the spirit that my heart’s grown cold I ain’t gonna hear it I’ve seen thru the lies by the junk that folks buy they shuffle and whine and scream “Mine! Mine! Mine!” no cards to send out no boxes to wrap i’ll watch the snow fall as I lie on my back I’d rather sit here with you share a story or two and sing the Ebenezer blues
