World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus today declared the Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. This comes after a meeting of the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee for Ebola in the DRC.
