Ebony Omede + Sherry Balogun: No Small Talk

from Redefining Wealth with Patrice Washington · host Patrice Washington

Do you enjoy alone time and do your best thinking alone? Have you ever been told you’re too intense? How about networking, do you feel like you’re faking it when you have to network? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then you may be an introvert. In my work with Purpose to Platform, I’ve heard so many women consider themselves introverts. They usually admit to not being comfortable on camera, or speaking up in coaching sessions, or even stepping outside of their comfort zone to pursue their purpose. But the amazing thing about introversion is that it doesn’t have to prevent your success or your ability to chase your purpose. After listening to a podcast called “No Small Talk”, I finally realized that I am indeed an introvert. In this episode I wanted to bring in the hosts to discuss how you can be a thriving introvert in an extrovert driven industry. Ebony Omede and Sherry Balogun are the dynamic hosts of the “No Small Talk” Podcast - a lively space for introverts looking to build connections and level up in their personal and professional lives. Through conversation starters, interviews and discussions, they help introverts connect with others naturally and confidently without the small talk.
