ECCC 2019: In Conversation with Zack Kaplan (Emerald City Comic Con, March 2019)

ReedPOP’s Emerald City Comic Con once again takes over the immense WA State Convention Center in Seattle, attracting tens of thousands of comic book and pop culture fans from across the globe, by showcasing some of the best creative talents there is to offer – one of our esteemed correspondents, Samantha Beard, has been very lucky to be invited along as Press, meaning she’s got the chance to speak one-on-one with members of this outstanding creative melting pot. Samantha settled down beside comics writer Zack Kaplan, a talent whos star has risen fast and furious over the past couple of years, with his debut sci-fi series, ECLIPSE, making an impression with every one who read it, including us. Zack followed this up with the equally impressive PORT OF EARTH, also published by Image Comics - here, Zach talks about the lessons he has learnt and the relationships he has developed that has influenced his writing, Thanks to Zack for taking his time to talk to The Convention Collective, and to Samantha for hosting the conversation.
