A church is more than just a building; it's more than just a meeting on a Sunday meeting; it's more than a global organisation - it is primarily a local community of Christ-followers. These believers are called together by the Holy Spirit to be a worshiping, witnessing, welcoming community of sons and daughters of God the Father. A local church is also called to be "salt and light" in a society. This involves being prepared to speak up and speak against wickedness and injustice.
