Echo ep. 2 (150)

A train heist! Explosions! Maya has super powers? Biscuit is selling his PlayStation for a hundred dollars so he can fix grandma’s truck, which is a pretty good price, to be honest. Bonnie is sort of needy. Did we mention Maya has super powers? All that and more in this week’s episode of the Super Sideshow Podcast! Follow. Subscribe. Rate. Review. Thumbs up. Give us all the Stars! Show notes. The game the Chotaw played was called Ishtaboli, or stick ball. It’s a real game, and it looks awesome. And, oh, there is a whole website dedicated to Chotaw culture and the work on Echo! https://echo.choctawnation.com In the comics, it’s not really clear if Echo is a mutant or not (I think she is), but her only ability is photographic reflexes. She doesn’t display the powers we see in this episode (unless you count her Phoenix powers). There’s an actual gang war in the comics right now, and it’s pretty cool! https://www.marvel.com/articles/comics/all-the-parent-child-connections-in-gang-war-comics-event News you can abuse! The Marvel needs to back the Kingpin as the main big bad of the MCU. https://www.ign.com/articles/forget-kang-kingpin-is-the-major-villain-the-mcu-needs-right-now No more She-Hulk? https://thedirect.com/article/she-hulk-season-2-tatiana-maslany Valkyrie and Captain Marvel were, like, doing it? Maybe? Probably not. https://thedirect.com/article/captain-marvel-valkyrie-girlfriend-relationship-the-marvels We keep forgetting we do Star Wars stuff too. Sigh. Ok, you’re not getting a Mandalorian show anytime soon…. https://thedirect.com/article/the-mandalorian-season-4-release-report …Cause it’s gonna be a movie! Maybe. https://thedirect.com/article/star-wars-movies-future-release-slate-new What’s up next? More Echo! Where to find us.
