An audiovisual addict, she approaches her craft through “sight, sound and soul”, pairing her passions for music and visual art, in stillness and movement. Her music blends electronic rhythm with soulful vocals oscillating from crystalline honeyed notes to her low husky roll, a sonic duality of vulnerability and strength. Her childhood home was filled with jazz, bossa nova, soul and hip hop. Influenced by Sade, Erykah Badu and India Arie, she credits them as having taught her to sing.Add her lyrics, written to process complex tides of everyday emotion, and you get dance floor-ready introspection.
